The course will take place at University of Girona. Building P4, in Campus Montilivi. [Coord: 41°57'46.5"N 2°49'53"E]

Instructors:
Academics and researchers from the Research Group on Compositional Data Analysis of the University of Girona.

Registration Fees:

    • Student: 250 euros.

    • CoDa-Association and SEIO member: 300 euros.

    • Regular: 350 euros.

    • Late registration (1^st June): 475 euros.

The fees include all course documentation, coffee breaks, lunches, and a social dinner.

Students and CoDa-Association and SEIO members can apply for a reduced fee, by sending proof to webmaster@compositionaldata.com (e.g. scanned membership card, university documentation, etc.). 

Refund Policy:
Paid registrants who cannot attend, and do not send a substitute, will be refunded with a cancellation fee of 80 euros if a request is received in writing at least one month before the start date of the course. No refund will be applicable afterwards.

Full refund will be applied in case the course is cancelled by the organization for any reason.

Recommended background:
One semester undergraduate courses in statistics and mathematics. Familiarity with multivariate data analysis will be beneficial.

The computer practicals will be carried out using the freeware stand-alone CoDaPack (http://compositionaldata.com/codapack/) and other specialised packages on the R system for statistical computing.

Attendants are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptops with all the software previously installed. If you are unable to bring a laptop or have troubles installing the software packages, please contact the course organiser.
