From Plaça del Vi, we will enter the city hall where the reception will take place.
Ice-breaker and welcome cocktail at the Taverna d'El Foment
Monday 3rd 19:30; plaça dels Mercaders (Mercaders' square)
At short walking distance from the venue of the reception, La Taverna is part of a culinary project aiming at supporting the regional culture, language and tradition; being focused on working with local products and suppliers.
Panoramic Tour of Girona's Old Town
Wednesday 5th 17:30; meeting point at the entrance of the Faculty of Arts
This is a visit of approximately 1.5 hours to discover the Old Town of Girona. This includes the neighborhood of Sant Pere and the Arabic Baths, learning about the Cathedral and the old Jewish quarter, walking the streets used by the different guilds back in time and, depending on the group, having a look at the medieval city walls
Social dinner. The Ultonia's terrace
Wednesday 5th 20:00; Rooftop of the Ultonia hotel
Time to enjoy an open-air dinner with priviledged views to the city and its surroundings, including a sunset with the Cathedral illuminate in the background. Alternative inner hall will be available in case of bad weather conditions.
Farewell drinks
Friday 7th 13:30; cloister of Sant Domènec. Faculty of Arts
Some informal drinks and snacks will be served on-site to the delegates before departure after an intense week of scientific presentations and discussions.
